| Jeff Horsfall has been in touch with the sad news of Dave's death.

| I received a telephone call from Dave Armstrong to inform that Dave Edwards from Macclesfield sadly passed away on Friday 16th October 2020 shortly after his 70th birthday. He was in Macclesfild hospital suffering from sepsis.

| Before retiring Dave was a Customer Service engineer working for Openreach in the Macclesfield area. He also used to cover the PABX customers around Macclesfield Congleton and surrounding areas. His wife Geraldine died some years ago but he leaves two daughters and grandchildren who are sure to miss him. RIP Dave.

| No details of funeral as yet but probably family members only due to ongong Covid restrictions.
